To-do AI

Say the work. Detto builds the plan.

Detto's voice to-do list turns one spoken thought into an organized plan on Windows. Press Ctrl+Alt+T, talk the way you actually think, and Detto extracts the tasks, picks the right project, understands priorities, and resolves deadlines — no forms, no dropdowns.

Detto Windows workspace with voice capture and organized project tasks
From speech to a usable plan: capture several actions, keep their projects attached, and review everything locally.

Speak naturally, get structure

"Prepare the launch proposal, send it to the client — that one's urgent — and schedule the follow-up for Friday."

From that single sentence Detto creates three tasks with polished titles, marks the second one high priority, and puts a Friday deadline on the third. The parser understands natural phrasing in many shapes: lists ("three things: …"), spoken openers ("ah, and then I should also…"), per-task priorities ("the login is urgent, the documentation can wait"), and natural dates — "by Friday", "the day after tomorrow", "in three days", "in two weeks", "end of the month", "by the 20th".

Projects that match how you say them

Mention a project anywhere in the sentence — "for Traken, add the Stripe keys" — and the task lands in that project. One phrase can switch context: "for Alpha fix login, then for Beta review billing and publish the notes" creates one task in Alpha and two in Beta. Detto matches names by spelling distance, so when speech recognition hears "Trachen" or "kaiman", the task can still file under an existing "Traken" or "Cayman" project instead of creating a near-duplicate.

Safety wins over automation when evidence is tied. If a spoken name could refer to two similar projects, Detto rejects that clause and its dependent follow-ups until you name an unambiguous project. Unsupported requests to move, rename, or reprioritize a task are also rejected rather than turned into a new Inbox task.

Complete tasks by voice too

"I implemented the Stripe keys in the Traken project."

Say that something is done and Detto finds the matching open task in the right project and checks it off, announcing what was completed. When two tasks are equally plausible it leaves both unchanged instead of guessing, and a past-tense sentence never creates a duplicate task by mistake.
